We offer an innovative High School program for grades 8-12, engaging older students in issues including ethical responsibilities, peer pressure, and what they might expect as they pack and prepare for their college years. Students from Temple Shalom in Aberdeen join us for a three year program leading to Confirmation at the end of 10th Grade, followed by a two year program leading to Graduation at the end of 12th Grade.

The MOREHHSHa High School is run cooperatively by Temple Rodeph Torah and Temple Shalom in Aberdeen. It provides members’ children with the opportunity for five years of continued study.

We at MOREHHSHa believe that Jewish education is an ongoing process of claiming our heritage as our own.  After all, not only does our name signify that ours is a Monmouth Regional Reform Hebrew High School, but the Hebrew word morasha itself means “heritage”, or “inheritance.”

Our school provides a place where Jewish teenagers can claim their morasha and acquire the knowledge and skills to live as Jews in the 21st century.  They can dream, explore, challenge, and investigate as they find the relevance of Judaism to their own search for a pathway through life.

  • Our 8th - 10th Grade program is divided every year into 2 semesters, each 10 or 11 weeks long. 8th and 9th grade students select their own courses from an array of electives, and 10th graders are taught by the rabbis in a year of focused study. After these three years, students celebrate the landmark of Confirmation, with ceremonies conducted during separate Confirmation Services at each Temple.

Classes are held on Mondays from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
